Discover the worst mistake you can make when opening your wine and the best way, tested and approved by sommeliers worldwide to avoid it

This new method can open any wine in seconds, even when the cork is old and dried out

Are you a fan of good wines? If so, you’ve surely battled with a stubborn cork, right?
What happens next is the worst mistake we can make when opening a wine…
Either you win the battle managing to extract the cork, albeit sliced or crumbled, but don’t realise that bits of cork have fallen in and tainted your wine…
Or you lose. Watching half of the cork remain in the wine bottle after the corkscrew has only managed to get out the other half… And in this case, we don’t admit defeat, but we start an exhaustive search on the internet that shows “how to remove a broken cork from within a bottle.”
The most tragic part is when we’re talking about excellent or extraordinary wines, wines that cost £50, £250, £1000, or even more than £5,000… Wines that have taken decades to age and develop in flavour, and that you’ve purchased with much affection, to celebrate and enjoy special moments or the company of those you love.
The fact is that the older the wine, the more flavoursome and unique it is, but also, the more dried out, fragile, and difficult to remove the cork becomes.
So, the conventional corkscrew ends up being the big villain, as when it goes through the cork, it causes pieces of cork to drop and contaminate the liquid. This is bad enough, as it spoils the taste, but it can get even worse, it may even split it in half and fail to get it out of the neck, due to its fragility.
That’s why those who appreciate good wines wonder if there is a way to avoid the mistake of removing the cork, to prevent the wine from being contaminated with cork, and also without risking breaking the cork in half.
Now, thanks to a new wine opener, created by the Italian Sommelier Giorgi Marchetti, we can say yes.
The innovation we’re talking about is called PopperWine, and it was evaluated in one of the biggest wine competitions in the world, the “Challenge International Du Vin,” where sommeliers from all over the world were thrilled to find that it could remove even the most fragile and dried-out corks, from the most expensive and special wines, without the risk of contaminating the wine with pieces of cork.

So, what is PopperWine, and how did it come about?

Considering the difficulty of removing fragile corks without contaminating the wine, Giorgi Marchetti became obsessed with creating an easier way to open wines… a way that could really prevent the liquid from being contaminated by pieces of cork from even the most fragile and difficult to remove corks.
And thus, PopperWine was born. It’s one of those ingenious inventions that make us ask ourselves, “Why didn’t I think of that before?”.
It’s a unique corkscrew with an air pump system and its operation is as simple as it is surprising.

It works like this: It has a stainless steel needle at the end that can pierce the cork easily without dropping pieces of cork.

Next, with just 3 or 4 light movements of pumping air, it causes the cork to “pop out,” as the air will push it from bottom to top, meaning, besides not needing to apply any force, it’s also the best way to not contaminate the wine with pieces of cork.

Imagine taking from your wine cellar a good bottle of wine, the one you’ve kept with great care to enjoy at a special dinner with the people you love. As you remove the seal, you notice the dried-out cork and your friends already look worried, but you’ll be calm because with PopperWine you can open your wine in seconds, effortlessly, and without fear of spoiling the experience, being able to enjoy to the fullest all the taste and aroma of your good wine.
It’s an essential item for those who truly love wines.

In the words of Giorgi Marchetti:

Our opinion on PopperWine:

I tested the product for approximately 2 months, and I, as an aspiring “Amateur Sommelier” that I am, have to say, it was an interesting experience.
The first time I used it was with a group of friends, we gathered on a weekend to chat and try good wines, I had told them all week about a very special matured wine that I had bought and promised that we would open it together.
When I arrived at a mate’s house, everyone was keen to uncork the wine I’d been raving about, and I won’t lie, I was too!
As we peeled off the seal, we noticed the cork looked a bit off… dried out… and my mates shot each other worried looks. That’s when I pulled the PopperWine out of my blazer pocket.
Immediately everyone was baffled and incredibly intrigued to see what it was, but without saying a word, I simply inserted the PopperWine into the cork and after 4 pumps, the cork popped right out, it took less than 5 seconds.
Everyone was gobsmacked, including me!
I then explained that we were doing a review on a product that had won the contest for the best wine opening system, that this product was the PopperWine, and that the stainless-steel needle at the tip could easily penetrate the cork without dropping bits of it into the wine
And with just 3 or 4 pumps of air, it makes the cork “pop out”, as the air pushes it from below, meaning, not only do you not need to apply any force, but PopperWine can also open any wine in seconds, particularly those tricky ones with brittle corks, and without contaminating the wine.
They were all eyes during the explanation, I felt like a professional sommelier explaining to my mates the benefits of using PopperWine and how traditional corkscrews can contaminate the wine and spoil the experience.
I used the PopperWine numerous times at home with my missus and found it extremely handy, but I must say that I discovered an unexpected benefit during a Sunday roast with my old man.
I brought along a bottle of Knights Bridge, my dad’s favourite, and after explaining what PopperWine is and how it works, he asked to open the bottle himself. This was quite a surprise for my mum and me, as my dad has arthritis in his fingers and hadn’t opened a bottle of wine in a long while, but I handed him the PopperWine
In just a few seconds the cork popped out and everyone was as amazed as my mates were, but what truly impressed me was that his arthritis didn’t hinder his use of the PopperWine, unlike with a traditional corkscrew!
I gave my PopperWine as a gift to my dad and I am certain it was one of the best presents I’ve ever given, he was chuffed! He mentioned he was eager to go back to enjoying the wines he had stored at home!
Therefore, if you enjoy a good drop and savouring it with all the experience and everything it can truly offer, I recommend the PopperWine. With it you will:

I love a good wine and I really feel like I’m wasting money when I pay a lot for wine, then start twisting the corkscrew and see bits falling off. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the product to arrive?
